Your team at Lockerz.com is excited about our first global PTZ Place event coming this Thursday, October 15.

As many of your know, Lockerz is still in its beta stage and will be even after we launch our site’s full functionality. Every day, with your help and input, Lockerz becomes a better site, a better community and a bit more worthy to earn the right to be your home page one day in the future.

We’ve worked very hard on the following rules and logistics to help ensure that 10/15 is as fair and inclusive as possible. As much as we’d love to satisfy every wish for every member, we can’t -- but we can endeavor to be as fair and responsive as humanly possible.

We have also struggled with the reality that there are a portion of Lockerz members who, despite our best efforts and granting of second chances, continue to try and cheat or disrespect the integrity of the Lockerz community and its amazing members. We, at Lockerz, feel a strong sense of responsibility and passion for protecting the interests and rights of our more than one million legit members, worldwide in 185 countries.

As a result, we’ve made some new rules for this posting to ensure that we can quickly shut down and manage those who do not participate with a sense of fair play nor belief in what we are trying to build together.

There is no perfect system yet and we recognize that some may be disappointed ultimately despite our best efforts. Rest assured that we will continue to solicit your feedback and learn from both your good ideas and our own missteps.

With that spirit in mind, here are new rules and details for 10/15 (which will actually bleed into 10/16 to allow for four separate time postings).

Prizes:

1) We have hundreds of thousands of prizes for this redemption in total but the most popular electronics and other gifts will run out again quickly and need to be restocked for the next PTZ Place posting in November (date to be announced soon).

2) We are restocking many of the prizes posted on 9/15/09, and we won’t raise PTZ levels on these prizes.

3) We have also added new prizes, many of which were suggested by Lockerz members.

4) Absolutely no exchanges, no returns, no cancellations and no PTZ refunds on prizes. Please select very carefully.

5) To allow as many members as possible to redeem:
a. Members are only allowed one (1) item over 50 PTZ per day. If you violate this rule, your order will be cancelled and your account will be subject to cancellation.
b. No redemption of two of the same items on the same day.

6) We are working on a longer-term strategy for European PAL electronics rules that we hope to have secured in a few weeks. For now, we are offering Amazon.com girt cards for global members to purchase their favorite electronics and other items on amazon.co.uk

Shipping

1) Please allow 2-3 weeks for shipping in USA. Please allow 3 weeks for shipping outside of USA.

2) All items other than iSkins and t-shirts will be sent via UPS. A tracking number will be provided for all UPS shipments.


International shipping

1) Lockerz is now shipping globally to every country in its dropdown menu!!

2) All US and Global shipping is still FREE for this event!

3) Every package sent internationally will be labeled as a “gift.” This should eliminate or significantly reduce any import duty or tax in the vast majority of countries. However, Lockerz cannot be responsible for paying any further fees or tariffs imposed by a recipient’s local government.

4) For our Brazil members, your country does not allow “gifts” to be shipped without fees or tariffs. We are in the process of creating an alternative shipping and distribution strategy for you to solve this problem. This will delay your order by up to 21 days but it should be worth it!

Important other rules and info:

1) We have added two catpchas (security codes) to the redemption process to help protect security of the transaction as well as ensure accuracy of typing.

2) All addresses must be entered accurately and be consistent with member’s profile address. Failure to do so will result in cancellation of the prize order.

3) No exchanges, returns, no cancellations or PTZ refund on prizes.

4) Use of any bots, cheats or fraud will result in immediate order AND membership cancellation.

5) Due to our growth and how busy we’ve been with building new functionality for our existing site, we are not launching the full Lockerz website for a few weeks. Please stay tuned for more details.

Currently there are 3 ways to earn PTZ on Lockerz

- Inviting Friends
- Logging In Daily
- Answering Daily Questions

How many PTZ do I get?

- 2 PTZ for each friend you invite
- 2 PTZ when you log in daily
- 2 PTZ when you answer the daily question

So how many points can I get in a Day? Week? Month? Year?

- If you can simply log in everyday and do the daily question you will earn 4 PTZ a day. If you can do that everyday for a week then you will have 28 PTZ by the end of the week. Then at the end of the month you have between 112-124 PTZ. Now if you can do this every single day for the whole year, you will earn 1460 PTZ. Now remember that's not counting how many invites you get.

Overview of Lockerz.com

The Falling PTZ Game (Intro to Lockerz)
After you have signed up you will be redirected to the page where is says you have to play this game. I call it the Falling PTZ Game. Once you have initiated the game, you will see a rectangle pop up, that is what you will be catching the falling points with. Simply move your mouse to direct the bar left or right. Suddenly you will see boxes falling down, each having a different size. There are large boxes, medium boxes, and small boxes. Each of them have a different point amount. The larger box is worth 1 ptz, the medium box is worth 2 ptz, and the smaller box is worth 3 ptz.

Now this game only lasts for about 5 seconds so you need to catch as many boxes as possible! Aim for the smaller boxes because they are worth more ptz! The point of this game is to collect as many boxes as possible, so you can get as many ptz as possible. Once the game has ended you will see your results. How many ptz it says you've won, is how many ptz your going to start out with on Lockerz.com! So more the merrier!

My Lockerz (Your Homepage)
After you have completed the game you will be taken to the "My Lockerz" page. This is your Lockerz homepage where you will find updates that Lockerz has posted and also Lockerz alerts. These alerts tell you if a friend has joined, how many invites you are away from becoming a Z Lister, and much more. I will tell you about invites and becoming a Z Lister later in this guide.

You will find a navigation bar at the top and a navigation bar at the bottom. The one at the top navigates you through the different sections of Lockerz. Such as your Connect page, PTZ place, and 2 tabs that have not been released yet. On the bottom navigation bar you will find Lockerz.com related stuff. Such as the FAQ, about, privacy info, stuff in that nature. The major part of the bottom navbar is the Dailies tab. That is where you complete the daily question for PTZ. Keep reading for details about the different section of Lockerz!

Connect (Your invite page)
This page is solely dedicated to inviting friends. This is where you would go if you wanted to invite when of your friends. Simply enter in a email address, write a personal message if you want, and press invite. The great part about the Connect page is that it tracks the email you sent to your friend. For example, it says if they have opened the email yet, and it also says gives you the date when they open it up. It also gives you the ability to resend the invite if you would like to. When the person signs up the status goes from "Not accepted" to "Accepted", then it gives you the date of when they signed up under you. Once they have signed up with Lockerz you are credited with 2 PTZ. So each time you invite a friend you earn 2 PTZ.

The Z-List (Having 20 Invites)
After you have invited 20 of your friends and they have fully signed up, you will be placed on the Z List! Now what it the Z List? "It's a tight community of in-the-know Lockerz members who get first dibs on the hottest brands and exclusive access to VIP experiences, videos, music and games - all in one place" Since you are a Z-Lister you receive double the PTZ, VIP Shopping, and you get a Free Lockerz T-Shirt! Also you get early access to the new Lockerz.com that releases in October. So I would do your best to become a Z-Lister!

Dailies (Daily questions you answer for PTZ)
In the Dailies section of Lockerz, you answer daily questions and in return you get 2 PTZ! Each day Lockerz posts a new question which you can answer. These questions are totally random! Here are some examples: If you could be a character in a movie who would it be? What was your most embarrassing moment? What genre of music do you listen to most? Answer the questions in any way you decide. There is no correct answer so you won't be penalized for an incorrect answer.

PTZ Place (Where you redeem your PTZ for prizes)
This is the section of Lockerz where you redeem your hard earned PTZ for prizes! There are so many different prizes to choose from! Here are examples: Xbox 360, iPhone cases, Samsung 40" LCD HDTV, MacBook Air, PS3 Slim, Ipod Touch 32gb, digital cameras, Ipod 5th Gen Nano, Xbox Live 12 Month Membership, Wii games, PSP games, PS3 games, Xbox 360 games, DS games, designer handbags, Burton Snowboards, Ray Ban Sunglasses, and so much more!

POINTZ

Lockerz Pointz(tm)(PTZ), are not redeemable for cash and have no cash value. Pointz are purely promotional in nature, are only for use on the Website, and do not constitute a property right or interest. Points may be redeemed immediately or accrued over time, up to 12 months. Points will expire on a rolling monthly basis if not redeemed within 12 months. Lockerz may discontinue the Pointz program or revise the Pointz program terms and conditions at any time.

All PTZ terminate upon any termination of your membership. Please see the official PTZ Rules for further information regarding acquiring and using PTZ.

TERMINATION.

Lockerz shall have the right to terminate your use of the Website and/or your Membership privileges any time for any reason, including, but not limited to, your breach of these Terms and Conditions. Following any such termination, Lockerz shall have no further obligations, responsibilities, or liabilities to you. LOCKERZ SHALL NOT BE LIABLE TO YOU FOR ANY DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, EXEMPLARY, PUNITIVE, OR CONSEQUENTIAL OR ANY OTHER DAMAGES IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF THE WEBSITE, PURCHASE OF PRODUCTS, MERCHANDISE, OR EXPERIENCES VIA THE WEBSITE (INCLUDING VIA REDEMPTION OF PTZ), INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, LOSS OF OR DAMAGE TO DATA OR LOSS OF OR DAMAGE TO INFORMATION, PERSONAL INJURY OR PROPERTY DAMAGE, HOWEVER CAUSED, WHETHER BASED ON CONTRACT, TORT, WARRANTY, OR OTHER LEGAL THEORY, EVEN IF LOCKERZ HAS BEEN INFORMED IN ADVANCE OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES AND/OR SUCH DAMAGES COULD HAVE BEEN REASONABLY FORESEEN BY LOCKERZ. REGARDLESS OF WHETHER ANY REMEDY SET FORTH HEREIN FAILS OF ITS ESSENTIAL PURPOSE OR OTHERWISE, LOCKERZ' TOTAL LIABILITY, REGARDLESS OF THE FORM OF ACTION, SHALL NOT EXCEED $50.

GOVERNING LAW

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed and enforced in accordance with the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, without regard to its conflicts of laws principles. All disputes arising out of or with respect to these Terms and Conditions shall be heard exclusively in the state and federal courts located in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, Allegheny County, and each of the parties hereto expressly consents and submits to the exclusive jurisdiction and venue of such courts. Some jurisdictions do not allow excluding or limiting implied warranties or limiting liability for incidental or consequential damages, and some jurisdictions have special statutory consumer protection provisions which may supersede the foregoing disclaimers and limitations. As a result, these disclaimers and/or limitations may not apply to you if prohibited by law.

COPPA

Pursuant to the terms of the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), we do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under the age of thirteen (13). The Website is not directed at children under the age of thirteen (13), and by using the Website, you represent that you are not under the age of thirteen (13). MISCELLANEOUS

Members or other recipients of free or purchased merchandise from Lockerz are responsible for all applicable taxes and duties. Our failure to exercise or enforce any right or provision of the Terms and Conditions shall not constitute a waiver of such right or provision. If any provision of these Terms and Conditions shall be unlawful, void, or for any reason unenforceable, that provision shall be deemed severable from these Terms and Conditions and shall not affect the validity and enforceability of any remaining provisions. You agree to comply with all local rules regarding online conduct and acceptable materials. Specifically, you agree to comply with all applicable laws regarding the transmission of technical or other data exported from the United States or the country in which you reside. These Terms and Conditions, and any web pages or other documents incorporated by reference, set forth the entire understanding and agreement between us with respect to the subject matter hereof. Terms and Conditions for the PTZ Place Redemption Program

• 1.PTZ will be awarded for purchases, site activities, charitable donations, and as otherwise determined by Lockerz, as specified at www.lockerz.com.
• 2.PTZ may only be redeemed at www.lockerz.com in accordance with the specific PTZ-redemption offer.
• 3.Lockerz may, without prior notice and in its sole discretion, alter, limit, or modify program rules, regulations, PTZ earning structure, PTZ redemption levels, or any other feature of the PTZ Place program at any time.
• 4.Members may only earn and use PTZ via one membership account. The creation of multiple membership accounts by or for one individual and the use of PTZ earned by or awarded to such accounts is prohibited. Lockerz reserves the right to void the membership and/or redemption privileges of any person(s) who have wrongfully earned PTZ, whether via deception, forgery, fraud, or otherwise, or have breached these PTZ Place program terms and conditions or the Website Terms and Conditions of Use.
• 5.Only the individual member who makes the purchase or engages in the PTZ-generating activity may earn and use PTZ. PTZ are not transferable from one Lockerz account to another. PTZ may not be reproduced, are not redeemable for cash, and are good for one-time use only. PTZ will be deducted from the member's account at the time of redemption.
• 6.Credits for merchandise returns and other financial adjustments made by Lockerz will be deducted from the PTZ balance.
• 7.Members are solely responsible for determination of any tax or other fees, service charges or liability arising out of earning or redeeming PTZ.
• 8.Members are subject to and shall comply with any additional terms, conditions and restrictions that apply to specific redemptions.
• 9.Points may be redeemed immediately or accrued over time, up to 12 months. Points will expire on a rolling monthly basis if not redeemed within 12 months.

Lockerz International Member Promotion Rules

Entries are free of charge. No purchase is necessary to enter or win. A purchase will not improve your chances of winning. You are not a winner yet. Participation is subject to compliance with these Rules and the Lockerz Privacy Policy, as stated at www.lockerz.com. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED BY APPLICABLE LAW.

What is Lockerz

1. What is Lockerz: Lockerz is an invitation-only website created to connect members through commerce, content and community. Watch exclusive video, discover new music, play games, connect with friends, and get rewarded for it. The more often you visit, the more opportunities you have to earn PTZ (or “Pointz”), Lockerz’ own form of currency. Lockerz was founded in March, 2009.

2. What types of products can be purchased at Lockerz: Members will be able to purchase a wide range of products from apparel, accessories, electronics, games, sports equipment and other products from hundreds of well known brands. Members will also be able to purchase digital assets such as music, videos, art, and decals.

3. Is Lockerz a scam: Lockerz is a real company. It is funded by Liberty Media, one of the largest media companies in the US. The Chief Executive Officer of Lockerz is Kathy Savitt, a former executive at Amazon.com and American Eagle Outfitters.

4. Why is Lockerz giving away prizes at low levels on PTZ Place: First, we just want to thank you for getting involved at the very beginning. You rock. Plus, you’re helping us build the coolest group of brand trendsetters every time you invite friends to Lockerz...but you probably knew that. And finally, we want you to try out the different PTZ levels to get a taste of how everything will work when we go live this fall. This version of the PTZ Place is a test for us to figure out what you like, what we like, and how together we can make Lockerz unbelievable when it officially launches.

5. Why is everything “Fresh Out” in PTZ Place: We are “fresh out” because the overwhelming early response to Lockerz blew right through our initial inventory. We will re-stock PTZ Place with new items starting this Friday, August 14.

6. Why aren’t people receiving invites: The overwhelming early response to Lockerz has occasionally maxed out our capacity to send email invitations. We are still in a beta learning phase. We are adding capacity every day. You should now be able to send and receive invites successfully. Invites that you already entered into the system should have been sent by now. You still may not be able to invite friends directly through Facebook. We are working really hard to fix that fast.

7. Will Lockerz ship internationally: Once Lockerz begins selling products this fall, we will ship to many countries outside the US (check back at launch time for a complete list).

8. When will I get my Z-List t-shirt: Please allow 7-10 days for delivery.

9. How many accounts can I have: Members are entitled to one account per person. Each person within a household can have their own account.

10. I want to play the game again, but can’t: The game is a one-time-only way to earn bonus PTZ when you first join Lockerz.

11. How will Lockerz make money: Starting this fall, you will be able to purchase products at Lockerz. But don’t worry, PTZ Place will still be around, with way more prizes and experiences than there are now. Members will be able to earn PTZ every time they buy, watch, play, share, invite friends, or simply show up on Lockerz. PTZ will be redeemable for both products and experiences.

12. When will Lockerz launch: Lockerz is launching in stages. PTZ Place, Lockerz’ Prize Redemption Center, is now live. Other components will be launched soon. The complete site will be launched this fall.
